Dua Lipa.
She's thirty with a mist
it revisits me, says gists
left on my grams of slips
gritty yelps, lovely secret
a toss crept for a night hit.
Reason I took a beaut out
was out impatient four walls
amorphous as a heart’s spur
while nana rocked a table lore
inflating was her menu’s sprout.
Huckleberry above persimmon
snorkelling in her Kelly pool
her cue ball, a ballot soup
her stun gun latches us
at pallor entry moods.
What other charms slash
sat at odd in a gnash
she wrote her lash
new rules, a ruler.
I love Dua Lipa for a lot of reasons, but the most recent is the first room number 222 in the music video for New Rules. A big thank you to Dua Lipa's family: her parents Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa, and her siblings Rina Lipa and Gjin Lipa.
